A vibrant, smoky amber, Coat Check is a heavy, heady scent with deep notes of tobacco, cacao and star anise, contrasted with the sweetness of blackcurrant. Previously known as Black Anise.

The Abel Private Sale is a result of limited volumes of archive stock that surfaced in our warehouse. It is a one off 24-hour event offering 50% off archive stock only, while stocks last. All Private Sale stock consists of ‘old collection’ formulas. Private Sale stock is all archive stock with the "old" formulas. To reduce waste, we have repurposed end of run components including caps and packaging from various scents. Defects may include (but are not limited to): - Misprinted or mislabelled packaging - Perfume packaged in the wrong bottle or box - Damaged or old packaging - Perfume that has matured in the bottle but remains true to scent

No. There are no restocks. All items available are the final remaining archive stock. Once sold out, they will not return.
Private Sale products are being sold at a generous discount due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Damaged outer box
- Old retail stickers or barcodes on the box or cellophane
- Wrong name on the perfume bottle (perfume will be listed on this site as the fragrance inside, not the name on the bottle)
- Damaged print on the bottle
- Scratches on the cap
- No cellophane
- Marks on the outer box
- No notecard inside the box
- Mismatched boxes and perfume
- Sediment or discolouration of perfume - this does not affect the perfume, it’s just a natural reaction between some ingredients
We DO NOT offer returns or exchanges on Private Sale orders, so please choose carefully.

- Private Sale products have minor imperfections such as, and not limited to:
- Minor scratches or cosmetic damage to the box, bottle, or outer packaging
- Fragrance in a mismatched bottle (e.g. Golden Neroli in a Cyan Nori–labelled bottle)
- Repurposed end-of-run components (e.g. caps or outer packaging from different scents), while the fragrance inside remains correct
- Private Sale is only available in these countries due to shipping restrictions, no exceptions:
